Mission Statement

The objectives of the Academy are the enhancement of vision and general health care of the people of the State of Tennessee, by providing a vehicle for the dissemination of research and continuing optometric education by and for Academy Fellows, and the advancement of the status of professional optometry with the meeting of optometrists of recognized professional ability and high ethical standards.
